MomJunction is all about moms sharing wisdom and answers with each other. MomJunction aims to connect more moms than anywhere else in the world.

MomJunction moms have all the tools to coordinate and organize their lives, including a calendar, personal messaging and photo sharing. Moms can create groups that reflect their lives (friends, family, neighbors, school parents, organization members, etc.) and interact and communicate using Ripple technology to share selectively between their groups.

Ripple is the equivalent of real life word-of-mouth using the scale and speed of the Internet. Ripple makes it possible for Moms to connect one group they are in to another -- sharing their experiences, knowledge and tips with their friends, friends of friends, and so on, reaching out to potentially millions of moms and their collective experiences.

After leaving Invoke Solutions as VP of Sales and Marketing, Sang was working to ensure that busy employees had instantaneous access to the knowledge inside their multinational corporations. He was repeatedly struck by the parallels between their coordination and information needs and those of his wife, running a household with two small children. Sang realized that mothers around the world could benefit tremendously from the same knowledge sharing concepts he was developing for global corporations, and MomJunction was born.

MomJunction closed its first round of funding in January 2007, led by PointRoll CEO Christopher Saridakis, PointRoll founder Jules Gardner and noted entrepreneur Pat Croce.
