Sang Kim
Chief Executive Officer
Sang came to understand the intensity and demanding quality of a mother’s life when he quit his corporate job and began working from home, with the aim to create a revolutionary knowledge management solution for Fortune 500 companies. Working to ensure that busy employees had instantaneous access to the knowledge inside their multinational corporations, Sang was repeatedly struck by the parallels between their coordination and information needs and those of his wife, running a household with two small children. Realizing that mothers around the world could benefit tremendously from the same knowledge sharing concepts he was developing for global corporations, Sang created MomJunction.
Prior to MomJunction, Sang was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing with online market research company Invoke Solutions. He spent a three year tenure with Net Perceptions as General Manager of the Knowledge Solutions Business Unit. He was a manager at McKinsey & Company and spent three years in the role of Chief Architect at ICM. Sang received his B.A. in Sociology from Columbia University in 1991. Sang, his wife and two sons ages 2 and 6 live in Morristown, N.J.
