You Will Need:

  • Fabrics of different colors, such as white, black, and pink fabrics
  • White felt
  • Scissors
  • Toy stuffing
  • Needle
  • Thread
  • Wiggle eyes
  • Glue

How To:

  1. Fold the white fabric into two halves and help your kindergartner to draw a picture of cow’s body on the top of the cloth.
  1. Cut two identical images of cow’s body out of the white cloth using a pair of scissors and sew both of the pictures with the help of a needle and thread. Leave a little gap while sewing the body.
  1. Insert some toy stuffing through space and sew the hole well.
  1. Now, draw and cut two similar pieces of cow’s face out of the white felt using the scissors and sew them leave out a small space for the stuffing.

  1. Paint the paper plate brown entirely by using the brown watercolor and paint brush.
  1. Teach your child to draw the mouth of a cow on the red card paper, and cut it out using the scissors.

  1. Teach the kindergartner to draw an outline of a cow on the drawing sheet by using the blue color pencil. Outline the body, legs, tail, neck, face, and ears of the animal using the blue pencil.
  1. Draw small black patches on the body of the cow’s body and end of the legs by using the black pencil. Also, create nose and eyes using the black color.
  1. Color mouth and ears in red.

  1. Cut two ovals from the white card stock such that one is big enough to form the body of a cow and other is small to suit as its face.
  1. Glue the small oval onto the large oval to create the body and face of the cow.
  1. Use a paintbrush and black food color and make small black spots on the body of the calf.
  1. Paint two equal-sized clothes pin white using the white color, and let them dry.
  1. Use the pins as the legs of the animal by anchoring them to the bottom of the calf’s body.

  1. Teach your child to draw a picture of a cow on the white drawing sheet by using a pencil.
  1. Let your kindergartner paint the body, legs, face, and ears of the animal in light brown color by using a paint brush.
