What You Will Need:

  • An empty egg carton
  • Long thin sticks
  • Chart paper in two different colors
  • A pair of safety scissors
  • Pirate themed stickers
  • Little pirate toys (optional)
  • Paint and paintbrush
  • Print out of pirate-themed pictures
  • Glue

How To:

  • Help your child cut out the egg carton to separate the lid. Only the base will be needed for this craft.
  • Ask your child to color the bottom of the egg carton on the outside. This will form the base of the pirate ship.
  • Ask him to color the inside of boat’s base.
  • Help your child cut out two big squares from the two different colored chart papers. These will form the sails of the pirate ship.
