1. Felisha’s home birth
Felisha was a mother to her three children aged between two and six when she chose to have her fourth. With the previous deliveries being natural and super fast, she thought it was a perfect time to try a home birth.
2. Choosing to have her children present at delivery
At first, Felisha and her husband Tate thought that they were going to send their children to their grandmother’s house. But Felisha’s midwives recommended that the kids be there, so they let them stay home and witness the childbirth.
3. Capturing a home birth on the lens
Kaylee confessed that her secret dream was to be a midwife. So when the couple hired her to be their birth photographer, she was super excited to be a part of the whole thing.
4. Capturing the rawness of birthing
Kaylee Ralph says how she is mesmerized by the power of women’s bodies to bring a child into this world. She loves the rawness of the birthing experience.

Kaylee believes that birth photographs can powerfully capture the emotions that the birthing mother is going through. You can feel what she is feeling just by looking at the pictures.
8. Birth Photography is powerful
Kaylee thinks that the best thing about birth photography is the feeling that comes over the place, the peace, the relief, and the love of the mother. It all seems raw and like you ‘experience a little piece of heaven’.
