She holds a bachelor’s degree in child development and is currently working at Kolb Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher. Known for her passion for making learning fun and engaging, Katie thrives on creating a classroom atmosphere where curiosity and excitement are at the forefront. She loves to focus her instruction around daily read-alouds and incorporate STEM activities that encourage hands-on learning. When she's not in the classroom, Katie enjoys discussing teaching strategies and challenges with her husband, who is also a teacher. Outside of work, she stays busy with her two boys, reading books, walking her dog, and unwinding with a good puzzle.
