Samantha has been studying Japanese for 20 years, eight years of that running the Chicago Speaks Japanese! meetup group and overseeing guest assistant interpreters at Anime Central. She is now a full-time Japanese teacher and tutor. Samantha has watched as people struggled and lost their enthusiasm and wonder for the language and is now on a mission to simplify the process of learning Japanese. When not going against the grain, Samantha continues to build websites--she was a web designer and developer for a decade--as her life has always revolved around art, computers and Japan.
