Theresa Bertuzzi is the chief program development officer and co-founder of Tiny Hoppers, an early learning center and daycare provider located all across Canada. Theresa is a certified and experienced primary school teacher; she did her graduation in Child Studies from Carleton University, bachelors in Education from University of Ottawa and another bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Algonquin College. Before founding Tiny Hoppers, Theresa worked as a kindergarten teacher at Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB). With 25 years of experience in the field, she now spends her time developing innovative programs for Tiny Hoppers, including their infant care programs. Through her research, she has designed a program that teaches teachers how to lead young children through music and movement and focuses on teaching children literacy, math, and science through hands-on learning activities, music, and play.
